Default Emeril's 12" skillet received - my comments

Having received my Emeril 12€ skillet, I realize that a 12€ skillet is
the measurement across the top, and this skillet measures 8-1/2€ at
the base.

On my range( which has a set of triple elements which are 6, 9 and
12€) Emerils 12€ pan, which has a base measurement of 8-1/2€ fits the
9€ element.

What I am using mainly now in stainless steel:
5.5€ base skillet is identified as a 8.5€ skillet. (which will fit my
6€ element)
7€ base skillet is identified as a 10€ skillet. (which fits my 6 or 9€
element)

and I am still left looking for a skillet which fits the 12€ element.
I have been seeing some 14€ occasionally.

The Emeril ss skillet I have purchased is larger than the ones I own
listed above (as you can see). I do like the handle because it has a
thumb print, and I wanted this pan for frittatas/frittatas, and it is
the same weight as my 10€ skillet above, (I weighed it on kitchen
scales) so this €œcould€ be a plus as far as weight handling goes while
cooking, but I am not sure as to how much difference it will make in
cooking (frittatas, to be exact ïŠ).
