I have a couple of Bamboo knife blocks and my only problem with it as a
cutting board is the fact it isn't solid pieces of wood. It is really a
laminate the same with flooring. I've never used a Bamboo cutting board so I
can't say what it is really like and could be just fine. I just have my
doubts about the binding material they would use to make a board.
