I agree with you on this. I found that the Oxo didn't spin very fast and I
had to open the lid, redistribute the contents, and spin a couple of time to
get them adequately dry. Then, as I mentioned, it broke after 18 months of
use. It wasn't the worst spinner I ever had, but it could have been better.
Since I last posted, I found the $50 electric slicer/spinner for $24.00 plus
shipping
