'scuse me... but I don't have enough experience with Tarragon to say, I
DO know that Basil loses one helluva lot when dried. :-(

Basil is one of my #1 favorite herbs. While still flavorful when dried,
there is NO comparison between fresh vs. dried Basil!

The only other flavoring that has an even more drastic changes is Ginger
root.
