Default Jennair Gas Range?

When we got a 30" J-A gas cooktop 4 years ago, the grates allowed small
pans to rock. That's because they were mis-manufactured. They had six
"pot-supporting" prongs but every other one was 1/4 inch too low. So
with only three prongs actually doing anything, small pans would rock.
I complained. J-A sent me, at no charge, four new grates. They were
identical to the ones I already had. I complained again. The J-A very
pleasant customer support person said that what I was complaining about
was a feature, "Three point support." Seriously, that's what she said.
I said I did not consider marketing's ploy to make a flaw into a feature
to be good business. She said that she thought new grates were in
process and when ready would be sent to me, also at no charge. After
some months, the new grates arrived and were correctly manufactured.

As I've pointed out in previous posts on this subject, I consider J-A
the Yugo of the appliance world. Anyone want four melted burner control
knobs? No wait--I can't send them. We're still using them.
