It may be to never try duck. It was more or less a resolution
before because I have never cooked a good duck. Instead of
getting better with practice, they got worse. After the last one
I gave up. Last summer my wife's cousin cooked a duck for us to
show me that it could be done. It was fantastic. He gave me his
recipe. If it works well on Sunday night we will have a great
New Years Eve dinner. If it doesn't, I will have time to make my
formal resolution to never again cook duck.
