Santa is given five of the best cookies from the batch all three
daughter-units make for friends and family: a peanut butter cookie
with a chocolate kiss atop, a gingerbread man, a lemon drop, a lemon
bar, and a molasses cookie with candied fruit chunks (the name
escapes me but I think it's German). Daughter-unit Alpha also used
to set out a glass of whole milk but I convinced her that Santa
would be more jolly if they allowed me to pour him a dram of single
malt or a moderate pour of vintage port to fully enjoy their baking
endeavors. Spawn was the first to notice the joy Santa showed was
returned ten-fold...
