Default NBILKT: measurement conversion

Another long awaited installment of notbob's incredibly lazy kitchen
tips. This month's tip concerns the quickest way to convert those
pesky metric or UK ingredient measurements in short order. Rather
than searching around your computer looking for where you saved that
conversion utility you downloaded a decade ago and haven't used since
Y2K or googling for a measure conversion website and digging through
the unlimited expanse of measurement types like avoirdupois weight and
world times zones and other nonsense, just go to google search. You
all have it as your home page, right?. Now, enter your measurements
directly into the search input window.

The format is the "amount measurement" you want converted "in"to the
"measurements" you want:

amount measurement in measurement

For example, you want to find out how many teaspoons in a quarter cup.
Just enter:

1/4 cup in teaspoons

Cool, eh? You don't even have to use decimal numbers (0.5). Try this:

2 british oz in american oz

Not only do you get the correct answer, google doesn't mind you're too
stupid to remember "imperial". It also settles, once and for all,
just who the term "American" is referring to. Don't push it, though.
Google plays dumb on such well known terms as limey, ******, and
imperialist running dog.

enjoy =D
