Winter Beef Stew
2 lb. beef cubes
4 med. carrots, sliced
2 med. stalks celery
2 med. onions, cut
1 can mushrooms, drained
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 cup dry red wine
Mix all ingredients except flour. Cover and cook in 325 degree oven for
about 3 hours. Remove and stir in flour to thicken sauce. Cook another
hour. This also could be made in crock pot.
