I once followed a very low-carb diet popularized in the book, _Martinis and
Whipped Cream_ by Sidney Petrie, published in 1966, a precursor to anything
Atkins wrote. After 3 days I was deathly sick. I'll never try Atkins, but
Weight Watchers works terrifically for me. My body seems to require a
balanced diet.
