Apple Kugel
1 can sliced apples (or 5 large apples peeled and sliced thin)
1/4 pound melted butter
1 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
Blend all ingredients well.
Pour into greased 9 x 9 pan and bake at 375 for 50 minutes.Serve hot.
Variation: top the kugel with rice krispies, or cornflake crumbs mixed with
cinnamon and sugar or with pineapple slices sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon
