If you are only making one loaf, the KitchenAid is fine.
If you are making more than one loaf, a bread machine won't be able to
handle the load.
A bread machine takes longer to develop dough than the KitchenAid. I
normally knead 5 minutes, let the dough rest 5 minutes and then knead
another 5 minutes. I can get two batches, two loaves or so each, done
in about 30 minutes with no trouble.
The bread machine will still, more than likely, still be batting the
first batch around at that point.
If you are interested in larger batches, then I'd suggest an Electrolux
or MagicMill Assistent. Nice heavy duty machine. I like 'em (based on
too short an exposure) better than the Bosch machines.
