Or, the two people could simple have the same ISP which uses DHCP
to assign addresses and after the first person's lease expired the
address was reassigned to the second person. I had this happen
to my mom. She got a DHCP-assigned address that was previously
used by a major spammer, and that address was blocked by quite
a few spam filters, including mine. All of a sudden none
of her email was reaching me. That problem took a while to
diagnose.
