Oh pshaw, on Tue 17 Oct 2006 12:13:37p, meant to say...

We pretty much use "grocery store" or "market" (not supermarket)
interchangeably in general reference. If it's a reference to a destination,
we say the name of the store, as we have 4 major supermarket chains in the
area. If it's Walmart, Costco, etc., we also say the name of the store.
