Broiled Seafood Canapes
1 cup cooked seafood, flaked
6 slices white sandwich bread
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup grated cheddar or American cheese
1/3 cup chili sauce
Toast bread on one side; trim off crusts and cut bread in half. Butter
untoasted sides; cover with a layer of seafood, then chili sauce and top
with cheese. Place canapes on a baking sheet under the broiler. Broil
until the cheese is melted and the canapes are heated through. Makes 12
canapes.
