What's with M-W DICTIONARY (new question)

phrase about "this is one of umpteen entries....you can start your free trial

BUT if you click on "mung bean" you get a perfectly normal dictionary entry.
Why don't you contact M-W and ask them??
I can understand them promoting their pay-for service, but why for some entries
and not for others?
