Is fresh/refrigerated pasta better than dry?

Fresh home-made is much better than dry or store bought pasta.
It's a fun mess to make and having a hand or two in it is far more
rewarding, imho. Aside from it being so simple to make for less $$$.
I find making fresh pasta soothing (from another subject), come to think of
it!
