I use woven (not terry) cotton towels because if something happens to
it (gets wet, hot broth or catches fire) I can dump it quickly without
getting hurt.

That's typical on TV. They don't want to endorse a certain brand.

Emeril is just gross and 99% of the food he cooks is disgusting.
