Here's what I feed mine.

1 lb ground beef saute'd with a handful of tiny pasta and 1/2 cup rice.

Add 2 cups water and some liquid oxo or bovril or any stock mix when the
meat is browned and simmer till rice is cooked.

My doggies love it.
