5 is a weird number if you're talking about roased duck. Maybe there
is an untold story. I wouldn't even try to feed 5 people an ordinary
chicken if I didn't have large proportions of other dishes to offer.

As far as "fixing" duck. Your duck has way too much fat. Somehow or
other, you need to introduce it to boiling water so you can melt away
a lot of the fat it comes with. Most of the ducks that have been
harvested for thier livers are fat.
