Yes, it would seem to go against common sense to eat a food derived from
a toxic plant such as rapeseed, especially when there are plenty of
other good oils available.

I might recommend Canola to those who are dirt poor, very cheap,
hyperthyroid, or seeking a possible subtle form of birth control.

The only thing clear about canola is that it is the cheapest oil.
