We used to go to Florida for a month or two in the winter, staying in
an rv park. There is this little restaurant in St. Cloud, just south of
Orlando, that we went to at least once a week. It was recommended by
friends, because we wouldn't have gone there on our own. It used to be
a gas station from the looks of it. "Bonnie Lee's" has the best fried
chicken I've had anywhere. They don't open until 4 pm. but if you're
not there by quarter to, you have a wait. They have a limited menu, and
if you go there after the supper hour, you run the risk that they are
out of something. They buy their chicken every day and the quality is
top notch. Anyone that's in the area, I'd recommend you give it a
try....But they aren't open Sunday or Monday. It's family run, and I
miss it.....we haven't been south for more than two years....Sharon
