Fake?? She can turn it on and off? I haven't noticed that. I think
she sounds like her vocal chords are very strained.... raspy, hoarse.
Hoarseness can have serious beginnings -

Hoarseness: abnormally rough or harsh-sounding voice. It can be caused
by vocal abuse (overuse is one way to abuse your vocal chords) and
other disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux, thyroid problems, or
trauma to the larynx (voice box).

A thyroid problem (hypo) could explain her weight issue too.
