Italian Stuffed Mushrooms
1 cup ground beef
1 cup ground Italian Sausage meat
dash of garlic salt
2 Tbsp minced onions
1 Tbsp oregano
2 Tbsp grated Romano cheese
2 Tbsp grated Mozzarella cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
30-36 mushrooms
olive oil
freshly ground pepper to taste
Clean mushrooms thoroughly. Take the stems off and simmer in a little
olive oil brown lightly. Remove from the pan and chop well. Remove
Italian sausage from its casing and put into frying pan with ground beef
and onions and simmer. Add chopped mushroom stems and the rest of the
ingredients, 3 Tbsp olive oil and 3-4 Tbsp water and mix well. Stuff each
mushroom cap and place on a greased pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 mins.
