: Not really, Priscilla. In fact, I ate the leftovers of everything I
: had last night. No reaction what so ever. Detergent was one of the
: things I thought of first, but good old Tide has been the soap of choice
: for a long time. I feel great right now. Even had a few beers with my
: neighbor. Did a BG check a few minutes ago and it is 120 (about normal
: for me). No itchy scratchy, no swelling, no nothing. I had to take off
: my rings and watch this morning, because it seemed that the itching was
: around them. I had a hell of a time getting them off. I'm wearing them
: all right now... no problem putting them back on. If I felt really bad,
: I'd be concerned, but this is more of a pain in the butt (nope, not
: itching there yet) than anything else. What ever is causing this is a
: real puzzle. Right now I'm looking at anything with MSG and Soy.
: Tomorrow AM we try the Special K "Protein Plus" with wild blueberries.
: Process of elimination. BTW, I didn't mention, it does not itch unless
: you scratch it, which I thought was weird. The more you scratch it, the
: worse it gets, almost like a nerve thing. The only time it was visible
: was the first and only time it appeared on my chest. There is nothing
: visible on my hands or knees, even tho they (did) itch like hell, and my
: lips were puffy only the first time which was in the morning. Some of
: this may be residual, they say MSG collects in your system. Pre-cooked
: bacon and pork rinds are on hold for awhile.
: Cheers, Wizzzer

I am no expert on any of this, but could it be something lke shingles,
with painful itchy rash that come form nan erruption , up the nerves, of
the chickenpox virus which lies dormanat in you for decades adn amy
suddenly sxplode.

I think you should see an MD as it could be from any number of things and
we are not great diagnosticians here.
