Bandwidth isn't an issue for the majority of us, but
connection speed is... unless they are working on their
T1 - T3 at work (or work supplied line).

Ouch, that's regressing! I thought those days were long
gone.
My best advice is to DL your headers, delete what doesn't
interest you while working off line - and then download
what's left.
