Thanks, I did not buy any fireworks for the 4th, but I do have some
cheap freezer burnt hot dogs, so the will be good for my fest. I want
to add a recipe for exploding guacamole, although it might be a little
late in timing for independence day:
4 mashed avacodos
dash lemon juice
1 large tomato diced,
a few T of minced onion
1/4 c sugar
Mix above. Put in sealed tupperware in fridge and forget that it's
there. Don't open the container. Let it sit a good month or so. One day
when you come home from work you may notice the inside of fridge has
green gloppy stuff all over. That would mean the guacomole hs fermented
to it's festive state and the lid blew, or it you were really lucky,
you were home and heard the fireworks in time to witness the fiesta. At
this point it might make a good liquor as well (I don't know, I did not
have the guts to try it)
