Read the ingredients. Prepared, pickled beets often have added
sweeteners that will raise the carbs per serving. Be aware of the
serving size, too. Some companies will list tiny servings because they
consider a pickled food to be a condiment.
I have made my own pickled beets using Splenda. they keep very well in a
jar in the refrigerator.
