Ah, yes, Farrell's. Lots of fond memories. My daughter, then about 7,
wanted to order a Pig's Trough (essentially 2 banana splits in a
single dish). I told her it would be a waste because she wouldn't be
able to finish it -- it's too much for a 7 year old. Of course, she
said she could, too. I said she couldn't, etc. etc.

Finally, I said, "Look, if I order it and you can't finish it, will
you agree to have it taken out of your allowance?" She said, "OK, but
if I do finish it, I should get the same amount added back in!"

I agreed. We ordered it. And I'm sure you know how it ended up...

She did nearly throw up on the ride home, though, which I told her
would be counted as a default. ;-)
