Given the huge cost to society (UK dead body count over 25,000 per
year), a tiny benefit which 'may' result from moderate drinking seems
like a ridiculous claim for booze. If you are concerned about being
healthy you can get much better benefits by eating 5 portions a
fruit/vege per day and exercising briskly for 25 minutes. Boozing
encourages people to eat badly and be lazy.
