I bought the larger of the two oxo salad spinners. I'm not sure about water
getting into the top spinner lid mechanism. The one I've had for many years
isn't closed in and I can put it in a sinkful of dishwater if I want to
without worry about rinsing out the soapy dish water.

How do you go about washing and rinsing the top spinner part; does the water
always come out to dry?

No answers from those who 'never' wash the top, please -- tee hee.
