Some people are just curmudgeons. I'm sure it was just fine. I can
imagine that some people just might not like Corned beef just because of
the texture/flavor. I like it & your original post has made me want to
make it again for the second time in my life (the first being about 8
years ago)

I like the suggestion that some made to make corned beef hash with it
for breakfast. That sounds yummy.
