If it were me, I'd also have rice on hand and some dried pasta. I'd
make a pilaf with minced onion sweated in butter, rice and a tiny bit
of vermicelli/spaghetti/angelhair broken into little bits and stirred
around with the rice in more butter. Cook in chicken stock. Then I'd
chop the rest of the onion, some shallot, celery and yellow pepper and
cook them in olive oil, add the tarragon and pour over the fish for
baking. Save the grapefruit and the potatoes for breakfast. -aem
