I guess I have a paranoid side to me... Anytime I see pre cut
anything,, I think.. was the other half going bad?
In the meat counter... they have beef cut up for kabob's (spelling)
along with pieces of pepper, onion, cherry tomatoes etc.. Makes me
wonder if the produce guy is not pushing his overstocked "getting
ready to go bad" stuff over to the butcher....
I've seen packaged dozen hard boiled eggs for sale in chain grocery
for $1.25 more than a dozen eggs cost... Are these eggs those that
were about to go rotten? Who's too lazy to boil an egg?
Now when it comes to salad stuff... sometimes I'll buy a bag of salad
mix.. just because I want "a" salad.. and know if I buy the individual
things they will go bad prior to me using them all.. depending on what
my schedule looks like for the next few days...not because I'm too
lazy to cut broccoli and such..
