Ditto here. We almost always have something in the freezer or pantry that we
can whip up with minimal effort after arriving home from a trip. But we've
also been known to stop and pick up something along the way or get something
delivered. (Nothing wrong with ordering pizza after you arrive home from a
trip. After all, you're still sort of in "trip mode" at that point and
therefore can still eat whatever you like. Dieting/eating healthy begins the
*following* day.
Our pet sitter visits our home on a daily basis when we're away (and doesn't
actually stay over at the house), so there's no danger of that person eating
our food.
And we don't have the snow/cold weather to deal with after getting home,
either. Nice to live where it's warm.
