Oh yes I close the lid! :-)
That's why it works so well. The tops get crispy and it's a hecuva lot
easier than starting up the oven.

Here are grilled portabellos:

I did those for 10 minutes. Regular white mushrooms are good at 6 to 8
depending on their size:

I am really sold on electric indoor grills!
