I think that we are a dying breed. I have a waffle iron and use it frequently.
While I am not that keen on separating the eggs and beating the whites when I
could just make pancakes with the same basic recipe. I am willing to do it once
in a while. My wife prefers waffles, so she does them more often. Most waffle
irons are rarely used. I know lots of people who have waffle irons that are never
used. It's a shame. I have tried the frozen waffles and they just don't compare.
