Chocolate Bourbon Balls
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate morsels
2 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup bourbon
1 cup finely chopped pecans
3 Tbsp light corn syrup
sugar
Place chocolate morsels in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in bourbon and corn syrup. Set aside. Combine
crumbs, powdered sugar, and pecans; mix well. Stir into chocolate mixture;
let stand 30 minutes. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Store in an
airtight container in refrigerator. Makes about 5 dozen.
