I've managed to get my hands on a butternut squash, though they're
normally nearly impossible to find around here. I plan to bake it with
some minced garlic, as I did last time I managed to get one.
However, I also want some sort of protein in my meals, as I'm now
thinking more of eating balanced. I don't eat meat apart from game meat,
but I do eat fish. Of course pulses, nuts or other vegetarian protein
sources are also possibilities. I'm lactose intolerant, but can digest
limited amounts of hard cheese, and most other dairy products can often
be replaced with substitutes as long as it's not a major part of the
recipe. Based on this, does anyone have any ideas as what would be good
for me to eat with my butternut squash?
