Some programs by default keep info on your computer you may not want to
share. Other programs such as genealogy databases, medical databases,
financial databases, word processors, etc can also store information you
may not want to share. I know for a fact that I have several programs
on my PC, Mac, and PDA that I would not want others having access to.
Unless you are using your computer simply for games and online browsing,
chances are good there are at least a few things you wouldn't want some
stranger to browse through.

ObFood: I have yet to find recipe software that I really like. So far
the computer has not reduced the recipe paper files
