Unless you're one of the relatively few people who have a static IP
address, then worrying about this is just silly. If you do have one,
or if you're worried about the relatively short persistence of a
dynamic IP on broadband (you can force a change if you're that
paranoid by rebooting your modem/router - but if your home network is
set up properly the address seen from the outside has no relationship
to your actual machine address anyway) then you should have a firewall
and a router so that . . . . . oh, never mind.
