Keeps it from being as sticky, sticking to itself.
That's the only reason I do it. :-)
Depends on how much water I used and how starchy the boiling water gets.
I don't rinse 100% of the time.
Now I use rice or corn pasta, and I never have to rinse corn pasta. :-)
De-bohls is great for coeliacs.......
