According to the following news story, a 1.2 kg. Italian White truffle
sold at charity auction for €95,000 (£63,000) on Nov. 14, 2005. That
works out to a 2.64 lb. truffle, btw, one of the biggest I've ever
heard of.

Anyone know what that converts to in US $/lb.?
