Science and the scientific method are two different things.

The truth is the foundation of all things that you have judged to be
important whether these things are off-topic or not.

The truth is absolute. You would have known this had you been able to
discern the truth.

There is no such thing as practicing science. A scientist is not
someone who practices science but someone whose mission is science.
