Hi! Here's a recipe for a fresh apple salad that we make all the time
in the fall:
Apple Salad with Poppyseed Dressing
5 or 6 apples such as MacIntosh or Granny Smith, cored and chopped.
Use different colored apples for a brighter look.
1 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped coarsely
1/2 cup dried cherries or cranberries
A creamy poppyseed dressing (we use Marie's brand, but any will do)
Mix together the apples, walnuts, and cherries or cranberries. Add
just enough enough poppyseed dressing to coat (about 1/2 cup.) You can
also serve this mixture ontop of a bed of green lettuce.
