Boron,
The Resorts Hotel & Casino on North Carolina Ave. The only place I visit.
I took a blackjack break one night and sat at a roulette table. Just me
and this distinguished gentleman. He told me how to tip the croupier
(sp?) after I'd won a spot. "How much was your bet?" I said "Five
dollars." He said give him a $5 chip, which I did. "Now you know how to
play roulette" he said, followed by a friendly punch to my shoulder.
After 20 minutes he got up to leave and wished me good luck and I replied
in kind. After he left, the croupier asked me "Do you know who that
was?" I said "nope" He said "Tony Bennett". I was stupified.
Tony Bennett taught me how to play roulette!
I tell that story whenever I'm there and have an ear to bend.
