Life is not complete without capers. I have never seen them other than
pickled in vinegar and in that form here is a few things to do with them:

- add to canapes and antepasto (especially those with seafood), also
sandwiches and snacks with cheese and charcuterie.
- use in Italian braised veal dish whose name I forget but if memory serves
they are called "caperi" in Italian which should find a recipe
- use to flavour white sauce to go on boiled meats (eg mutton)
- eat them out of the jar
