The original BBQ email list was Rick Thead's list on azstarnet and was later
taken over by Garry Howard on The Smoke Ring. This newsgroup was started by
Dave "Eskwired" who was a member of the original list. Don't ask me for
dates. It was a very long time ago.
Rick gave up on the list for the same reason this group has been going to
crap. A few bitter, strong headed personalities.
