I was painting. I made twenty paintings this summer, which is a lot
for me. I painted so much that I actually have a callus on my
painting hand. Vincent van Gogh on the other hand made over 200
paintings in a little over 400 days while he was in Arles. I have no
idea how he did it. But by the time he was my age not only had he
produced scores of masterpieces, but also he was dead.
