i've used brown sugar to make this recipe once when i was out of white sugar but
i can't for the life of me remember how it came out. it must not've sucked too
bad or i would've remembered. give it a shot, it can't hurt. without the
cornstarch, the sauce won't be as thick but if you reduce it some, you may get a
more viscous consistency.
